Feature Benefit Bullets

Polarity or Channel Type: N-CHANNEL

N-CHANNEL IGBTs offer lower conduction losses compared to P-CHANNEL, making them more efficient in many applications.

Maximum Rise Time (tr): 90 ns

The fast rise time allows for quick switching, important in applications where precise control is required.

Maximum Fall Time (tf): 180 ns

The relatively fast fall time ensures efficient switching transitions, reducing power losses and heat generation.

Maximum Power Dissipation (Abs): 312 W

The high power dissipation capability makes this IGBT suitable for demanding applications that require handling significant power.

Maximum Operating Temperature: 150 °C

The high maximum operating temperature allows this IGBT to function reliably in harsh environments without overheating.

Maximum Collector-Emitter Voltage: 1200 V

The high voltage capability of this IGBT makes it suitable for high voltage applications, ensuring reliable performance under high stress conditions.

Maximum Gate-Emitter Voltage: 20 V

The maximum gate-emitter voltage ensures safe operation and protection against gate breakdown, enhancing the overall reliability of the device.

Maximum Collector Current (IC): 25 A

The high collector current rating allows this IGBT to handle high current loads, making it suitable for power electronics applications requiring high current switching.

Maximum Gate-Emitter Threshold Voltage: 7.5 V

The gate-emitter threshold voltage defines the turn-on voltage for the IGBT, ensuring controlled switching behavior and reliable operation.

Terminal Finish: Matte Tin (Sn)

The matte tin terminal finish provides good solderability and corrosion resistance, enhancing the overall durability and longevity of the IGBT.

Manufacturer Highlights

Fairchild Semiconductor

In 2016 Fairchild was acquired by ON Semiconductor (after 2022, onsemi). Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. was an American semiconductor company based in San Jose, California. Founded in 1957 as a division of Fairchild Camera and Instrument, it became a pioneer in the manufacturing of transistors and of integrated circuits. Schlumberger bought the firm in 1979 and sold it to National Semiconductor in 1987; Fairchild was spun off as an independent company again in 1997. In September 2016, Fairchild was acquired by ON Semiconductor. The company had locations in the United States at San Jose, California; San Rafael, California; South Portland, Maine; West Jordan, Utah; and Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. Outside the US it operated locations in Australia;[4] Singapore; Bucheon, South Korea; Penang, Malaysia; Suzhou, China; and Cebu, Philippines, among others.
