Adjustable Regulators - Negative Single Output LDO

Adjustable regulators, also known as variable regulators, are integrated circuits that provide a regulated output voltage that can be adjusted by the user. Negative single output LDO (Low Drop-Out) adjustable regulators are a type of adjustable regulator that provides a stable, negative voltage output that can be adjusted by an external resistor divider. They are often used in applications where a negative voltage supply is required and a high level of regulation is needed.

The LDO regulator is characterized by its low dropout voltage, which is the minimum voltage required for the regulator to function properly. This makes it a suitable choice for applications where the input voltage is close to the output voltage. The negative voltage output is achieved by an internal NPN pass transistor that operates in the linear region, allowing for a low dropout voltage.

These regulators also offer a high level of accuracy and low output noise, making them suitable for use in sensitive applications such as audio and data conversion circuits.
