N-Type Connectors

N-type connectors are a type of coaxial connector used for RF (radio frequency) applications. They were first developed in the 1940s and are still widely used today due to their robust design and ability to handle high power levels.

N-type connectors feature a threaded coupling mechanism, with a male and female connector that screw together to provide a secure and stable connection. The connector includes a center pin and a cylindrical outer conductor, which provides shielding against electromagnetic interference.

N-type connectors are available in both 50 ohm and 75 ohm versions, with the 50 ohm version being the most common. They are also available in straight and right-angle versions, as well as male and female versions.
