Overview

DC charging stations are designed to convert the electrical grid’s AC power into DC power that can then be fed directly into a vehicle’s battery system for fast charging – in 30 minutes or less. Because the conversion from AC to DC power is being done in the charging station, these units can provide higher levels of power (50kW to 350kW and beyond) to the vehicle compared to AC charging stations. Working with tens to hundreds of kilowatts of power, efficient conversion, reliability of the system, and user safety are critical.

Feature Benefit Bullets

Package Body Material: PLASTIC/EPOXY

The use of plastic/epoxy material for the package body enhances durability and resistance to environmental factors, making the product suitable for a wide range of applications.

Maximum DC Gate Trigger Current: 0.5 mA

Low DC gate trigger current ensures efficient and precise control over the SCR, making it reliable and easy to use in various electronic circuits.

Configuration: SINGLE

Single configuration simplifies the setup and installation process, making it user-friendly and convenient for integration into different systems.

Non Repetitive Peak On-state Current: 100 A

High non-repetitive peak on-state current capability allows the SCR to handle heavy loads or sudden surges of current, ensuring reliable performance under varying operating conditions.

Terminal Form: THROUGH-HOLE

The through-hole terminal form provides secure connections and ease of soldering during assembly, ensuring stability and reliability in the circuit.

Maximum On-state Current: 5.1 A

The high maximum on-state current rating enables the SCR to handle moderate to high current loads effectively, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Repetitive Peak Reverse Voltage: 400 V

The repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400 V ensures protection against voltage spikes and reverse polarity, making the SCR ideal for various power control applications.

Maximum RMS On-state Current: 8 A

High maximum RMS on-state current rating allows the SCR to handle continuous current flow efficiently, making it reliable for prolonged operation in power control systems.

Maximum Operating Temperature: 110 °C

With a high maximum operating temperature of 110°C, the SCR can withstand elevated temperatures, ensuring stable performance in harsh environmental conditions.

Minimum Operating Temperature: -40 °C

The wide range of minimum operating temperature from -40°C enables the SCR to function effectively in both extreme cold and hot environments.
