Feature Benefit Bullets

Approvals (V): UL

Having UL approval ensures that the product meets the safety standards set by a reputable organization, giving customers peace of mind when using the product.

Construction: STRANDED

Stranded construction makes the wire more flexible and resistant to metal fatigue, resulting in a longer lifespan.

Jacket Material: FEP

FEP is known for its high chemical and thermal resistance, making it ideal for use in various industrial applications.

Rated Voltage: 300 V

The high rated voltage allows for safe and efficient use of the wire in a wide range of electrical applications.

Conductor Finish: SILVER

Silver is an excellent conductor of electricity, ensuring low resistance and efficient power transmission through the wire.

Insulator Material: EXTRUDED FEP

Extruded FEP provides excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance, making the wire suitable for high-temperature environments.

Maximum Operating Temperature: 200 °C

With a high maximum operating temperature, this wire can be used in applications where elevated temperatures are a concern without degradation of performance.

Minimum Operating Temperature: -65 °C

The low minimum operating temperature allows for the wire to be used in extreme cold environments without becoming brittle or cracking.

Wire Gauge (AWG): 28

The smaller wire gauge (larger wire size) allows for higher current carrying capacity and lower resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring higher power transmission.

Stranding: 7X36

7X36 stranding provides excellent flexibility and resistance to bending fatigue, making the wire ideal for use in installations with frequent movement.

Cross Section Area: 0.081 mm2

The small cross-sectional area allows for high density wiring installations without sacrificing performance or durability.

Conductor Material: COPPER ALLOY

Copper alloy conductors offer a balance between conductivity and cost, providing reliable power transmission at a competitive price point.

Rated Current: 1.5 A

With a high rated current, this wire can handle higher power loads without overheating or performance degradation.

No. of Conductors: 34

Having 34 conductors allows for the transmission of multiple signals or power sources through a single cable, reducing clutter and simplifying installations.

Wire & Cable Type: FLAT CABLE

Flat cable design provides easy installation in tight spaces and reduces the risk of tangling or kinking, improving overall cable management.

Manufacturer Highlights

Molex

Molex LLC is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems. Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics. They are notable for pioneering the Molex connector, which has seen universal adoption in personal computing. The company is considered the second largest electronic connector company in the world. Molex was established in 1938 by Frederick Krehbiel. The company began by making flowerpots out of an industrial byproduct plastic called Molex. Krehbiel developed this material by combining asbestos tailings, coal tar pitch, and limestone. Aside from flower pots, Molex also sold salt shakers before it expanded into electrical connectors and sensors.Later they made connectors for General Electric and other appliance manufacturers out of the same plastic. Molex acquired Woodhead Industries in 2006; the largest acquisition in the former's history at the time.
