Lamb Industries

About Lamb Industries The journey for a product from inception to the market is complex, and a significant investment. That is why it is so important that your product’s exceptional qualities are communicated effectively to your customers. Excellent industrial design not only improves the aesthetics, usability, and manufacturability of products but also communicates emotional attributes, telling a story that builds the product’s brand. director, James Lamb James Lamb has a BSc in Industrial Design from Brunel University. James was one of the very first design engineers at Dyson, starting with the company when it was still based in the legendary garden shed in 1992. He went on to consultancy with Random Product Design before becoming a founding Director of The Alloy in 1999. Between 2006 and 2010 James jointly ran The Product Works. He set up Lamb Industries in 2011 in Bath, Somerset. James co-ran the DfM (Design for Manufacture) platform on the Design Products course at the Royal College of Art. He is a visiting lecturer at his alma mater, Brunel University, where he also served as the Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor in Innovation. He has lectured at numerous prestigious universities in Europe and the UK.
